Issaquah travelled up to contest Eastlake HS. Totaled, we had 183 PRs, and 10 total event victories. Going into the finale of our season, this was an awesome way to finish the season off!

To start our winning ways, senior Shanthi Hall (16.38, PR) won the 100m hurdles. Seniors Ben Konopka (4:34.69, PR) and Kate Yahn (5:06.04) won the boy’s and girl’s 1600m, respectively. Our success continued to the 400m, where sophomore Connor Rickey (52.07, PR) showed his range in the sprints. Freshman Avani Akerar (53.82, PR) won the 300m hurdles, and junior Jane Harig (2:23.32, PR) won the 800m. Sophomore Sena Pittman (26.36, PR) took the W in the 200m, while senior Courtney Smith (4’10”) and sophomore Domfo Abekah (34’7″) won the high jump and triple jump, respectively. To close out the meet, our boy’s 4x400m of freshman Nicolas Talluto, junior Greyson Pike, junior Elijah Miller, and sophomore Toren Garcia ran a season’s best 3:33.22 to win the event.
