A league Triple Crown winner as a senior, Travis was probably the most diversely talented runner IHS has seen based on his success beginning primarily as an 800m specialist and then converting to a top-5-in-state level miler and state-qualifying 2-miler. In cross country, Travis was a three-year varsity participant finishing 4th in KingCo, 8th in district, and 11th in state as a junior and then 1st in KingCo, 1st in district, and again 11th in state as a senior. Travis is the 3rd boy in school history (and most recent) to finish in the top 12 at state twice. In track, he qualified for the district meet his sophomore, junior, and senior years as well as the state meet in the 800m as a junior and the 1600m and 3200m as a senior, finishing 5th in the 1600m. Travis is the only boy in school history to qualify for the state track meet in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m.
