Running on two state-title squads and teams that were both KingCo and district champs all four of her years, Mindy ran at the tail end of the most dominant years of the girls program. In cross country, she finished in the top 10 in KingCo all four years and was first-team all-district (7th, 3rd, 2nd) and all-state in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades, including top-15 finishes as both a junior and a senior.

She had the fastest IHS time on the state course at Sun Willows when she graduated.  In track, Mindy started as an 800m specialist finishing in the top five in KingCo and districts as both a 9th and 10th grader. Switching to a 1600m/3200m focus for 11th and 12th grades; she was twice 3rd in KingCo in the 1600m, league and district champ in the 3200m, and a three-time state qualifier during those years. Mindy set school records in the 1600m and 3200m for 12th grade, records that have stood now for over 20 seasons.
