Liberty Invite

Please take a look at the entries for the Liberty Invite.  If you are listed in the meet and unable to participate, please let your coaches know ASAP.  If you are listed as a 3rd entry, you are considered an alternate.  The list of entries can be found here:

Th bus leaves Issaquah High School at 8:30am sharp!  Don’t be late.  Estimated time of return to school is  4pm.

General admission into the meet is $6.00, students w/ ASB & Seniors is $4.00

Top 3 individuals per event will be awarded, as well as Team trophies to the top two men’s and women’s teams.   Concessions will be available for purchase.

Issaquah vs MT Si and Bothell @ Bothell

Meet will begin at 4:00pm at  9130 NE 180th St, Bothell, WA 98011

Please speak to your coach on Monday if you would like to change events.  Entry deadline for this meet is Tuesday at midnight and the meet manager would prefer to only have day of scratches and no add on’s.

Pole Vault will compete at home on Wednesday. Throwers who are not in the top 6 of their event will also compete at home on Wednesday. 

This Thursday we will have an early dismissal of 2:15pm and the bus will depart from the back of the school at 2:30.  Do not be late! Please let your teacher know ahead of time that you will be leaving class early.

We will NOT have bus transportation to/from the meet.

Athletes who have met the eligibility requirements will be entered and will attend this meet.

This is the final race of the season for jv athletes and is required for “finishing the season”. In addition to the league championship title, the varsity races are also the qualifying races for the state meet on November 4th. The top two teams and top 14 individuals in the two varsity races will qualify for the state championships in Pasco.

Bring water or prerace and post race liquids along with a snack to eat before and/or after your race. You must wear your school issued uniform. Spikes are allowed and recommended if you have them. You will be given a race number that must be worn during the race. Make sure that the number is totally visible and not folded, bent or mutilated If there is no number, there is no result!

 For those athletes entered in the meet, early dismissal is 2:15pm. Buses leave promptly at 2:30 from the back parking lot by the auxiliary gym. Please do not be late. Come dressed in your uniform.

Directions: Take I-5 North to exit 206. Go west about 1 mile and the school is on the left.

 The bus leaves Issaquah High School at 7AM and returns about 6-7PM.

 Bring water or prerace and post race liquids along with a snack to eat before and/or after your race. You must wear your school issued uniform. 1/4th inch pyramid spikes are allowed. They usually have invitational t-shirts for sale. Bring a large plastic bag and dry clothes and shoes if needed.

Name-tags should be picked up from Trevor Jordan and Mara Nowlan as soon as you arrive at the stadium. Immediately pin the name-tag to your singlet.
