1988 – 2025
The state championship meet moved to its present location at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco in 1988. There have been several changes to the landscape at the golf course but the general route and topography of the course has remained basically the same. From 1988 – 1996, the course was 3.0 miles; when the classifications were reorganized and the 4A classification added beginning in 1997, the course was lengthened to 5,000 meters. 5Km is about 172m longer than 3.0 miles. Course underwent massive changes in 2019 to make the course more spectator friendly.
