Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays
We are leaving for Portland on Friday morning at 8:15am and all kids entered into the meet are expected to ride the bus with the team. The bus will pick up the team behind the stadium. Please do not be late for the bus, as we want to get to Portland in a timely manner.

Kids are expected to pack a lunch and we will stop along the route to eat. We will make a meal stop on the return trip home, so please bring money for this. We expect to return to IHS between 1-2am. The kids can communicate to you once we leave our meal stop with a rough idea of our arrival.
The 46th Annual Washington State Combined Event Championships will be held at Lake Stevens HS June 2nd and 3rd. They will host the boys decathlon, girls heptathlon, and girls decathlon. It is a great family atmosphere and great competition! Visit the new website for more info.

Here are the entries for this week’s meet against Newport. Please speak to your event coach asap if you have any questions about the events you are in or not in. Entries are due Tuesday after practice.
Reminder that this meet is on a Wednesday this week. Bus will be leaving at 2:30 pm as usually; however, athletes will be missing part of 5th and all of 6th period.

Nike/Jesuit Invite entries
The boys and girls squads competed very well yesterday, with the girls capturing the team title over Glacier Peak by 14 points. The boys team placed an impressive 6th place, 28 points behind 1st place team Glacier Peak.
Senior Joe Nelson was crowned boys field athlete of the meet with a winning jump in the long jump and a 3rd place finish in the triple jump.
Senior Nikki Stephens was crowned girls track athlete of the meet earning 1st place finishes in the 100mH and the 4×400 relay and 2nd in the 200m, Congratulations to all competitors!

Please look over the Easton invite entries. If they are not correct talk to the head coaches or email us before practice on Monday at 3:45pm as entries are due that night.
Bus leaves IHS at 7:30 AM on Saturday the 21st from the back parking lot. Don’t be late! If you are planning to have your parents drive you to the meet, please speak to one of the coaches at practice, to avoid an early morning phone call as to why you aren’t on the bus. Tentatively returning to IHS around 8 PM.

Admission into the meet is $6 for adults or students w/o ASB card, $4 for students w/ ASB card ad $3 for children and seniors over 65. There are concession stands available to purchase food.
